Etna D.O.P. Tìade Rosso is a wine that smells of Sicily, of fascinating horizons that evoke emotions, of soft woods and angular valleys where the red Vulcan, passionate and severe, gives this wine a natural diversity: full-bodied, harmonious, and spicy. Etna Rosso comes from the best known vineyards of Etna: Nerello Mascalese, an ancient red vine native to the Nerello Cappuccio. They are vines cultivated on the north-eastern slopes of Mount Etna between 700 and 800 meters above sea level, which enjoy a unique climate compared to the rest of Sicily. Wine with a ruby red color and notes of red fruit of the undergrowth, it goes well with all types of meat, cured meats and cheeses.

The Marchese delle Saline brand was born in the Trapani area and has its roots in ancient times, when grandfather Giacomo, in 1860, began processing his first plots of land in the Baiata district, in the Trapani area. Since then, the passion, preparation and love of doing things from the heart, have been handed down from father to son over the years up to the present with the grandchildren Giacomo and Flavia, the third generation who today leads the ‘company. Very attentive to the values of tradition and quality, the Marchese delle Saline company seeks to produce wines from two distinct parts of Sicily, the eastern and western parts, each with unique characteristics linked to a different territory. This is how the two lines are born: Tiade with Etna wines and Le vigne del Marchese with wines produced in the province of Trapani. The Marchese delle Saline wine thus becomes an expression of the potential of a very specific territory: the salt pan and the volcano.
